How epicGEN panels work
epicGEN panels utilize NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing) technology, which is based on the hybridization enrichment method, which allows for selective capture of target DNA segments prior to sequencing.
Precisely designed probes are essential – they ensure high specificity, even coverage, and efficient detection of mutations even in low-quality samples.
Compared to traditional DNA analysis methods, these panels save time, capacity, and provide more accurate results. epicGEN can be used by experts in the fields of oncology, hereditary disease testing, or pharmacogenomics.
epicGEN Solid Cancer & MSI Kit for oncological diagnostics
The epicGEN Solid Cancer & MSI Kit panel enables the precise diagnostics of solid tumors and the detection of various types of genetic changes.
This panel is fully covered by health insurance companies in the Czech Republic and its integration into clinical practice is easy.
These are the key features:
- Targeted analysis of 42 genes – panel focused on the diagnostics of solid tumors (InDel, SNP, CNV and MSI).
- Effective detection of somatic mutations – sensitivity down to 1% of tumor cells.

GENOVESA software: Simple NGS data analysis
epicGEN panels are integrated into the GENOVESA bioinformatics software, which simplifies the interpretation of results. The user-friendly environment enables quick analysis and clear visualization of genetic variants, which makes the work of laboratory specialists easier.
In the case of MSI analysis, the baseline is established using normal MS-Stable samples, which simplifies diagnostics. In addition, the results are clearly displayed graphically – this facilitates interpretation, allows visual assessment of each locus, and provides advanced control over sample evaluation.
