The second week of November is usually very busy in Düsseldorf, Germany. Hotels and guesthouses are running at full speed, restaurants are bursting at the seams, and the whole city is transformed into a lively human mummery . Locals have become accustomed to the city coming alive whenever international trade fairs are held at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre. One of the largest events in the medical technology and healthcare industry worldwide is the Medica fair, which opens its doors to almost 100,000 visitors in the second week of November. This already significantly affects the normal functioning of the city with 650,000 inhabitants. Add another 5,000 exhibitors from 70 countries, and it becomes clear that Düsseldorf in November turns into a key destination for many healthcare companies.
Careful preparation as the key to success
For us at BioVendor Group, this fair is the highlight of the event season, and this year will be no different . Fitting all BioVendor Group companies into a shared exhibition space and creating a welcoming environment for hundreds of meetings with new and existing business partners, customers, and suppliers is no easy task. These four days are always preceded by months of careful preparation. We want to showcase the best and latest from our portfolio of immunological and molecular diagnostics products to the professional public. We aim to present the results of our colleagues' work, supported not only by teams from development, production, and quality control, but also by other supporting departments essential for the successful launch of a product to the market.
And what have we prepared for you this year?
The main 'drivers' will again be the key projects CLIA, MBA, and NGS, developed in synergy by various companies of the Biovendor Group. In line with our long-term vision of accessible, reliable, and personalized diagnostics, we will introduce the groundbreaking immunological biomarker MxA, which plays a key role in distinguishing between bacterial and viral infections. This represents a significant advancement in personalized treatment, uniquely available on three platforms: CLIA, ELISA, and POCT.
What lies behind the ever-growing CLIA portfolio, and where the entire process of development, production, quality control, and application-support services actually takes place, will be revealed in our brand-new video, “BioVendor Group CLIA: ready for your discoveries.”
A number of other product news and innovations from the companies BioVendor R&D, TestLine, ViennaLab, DiaSource and BioVendor MDx will be personally presented to you by our colleagues at the joint BioVendor Group booth:
